It was in order to provide a sort of organizational umbrella and a united
voice to this textile industrial effort that late desbhakta Babasaheb
Khanjire founded “The Ichalkaranji Industrial co-operative Estate” 1060 . Veterans like Shri. Fulchand Shah and others backed him to the
hill.
The Estate has catered to the multifarious needs of the industry and
entrepreneurship. It has, as is its proclaimed objective, provided fully
developed infrastructure and faculties to ensure planned
development of the area. We ( the Estate ) have tried and helped
create an industrial culture through our arduous effort.
