Ichalkaranji Municipal Council (IMC), originally established in the year
1893 manages & implements all civic affairs in the corporation area.
Ichalkaranji city is an industrial city having 40,000 properties out of
which, 22,000 properties having the powerlooms as well as residence. It
is the object of the IMC to provide basic facilities like road, water,
drainage as well as ETPs, fire fighting, raw material bank, electrification
for better industrial development of the city.
